Each day airport management is challenged with an increasing range of operational, financial, and environmental challenges affecting their airport. Changes in air service, political climate, environmental compliance, residential encroachment, and budget constraints have the potential to hinder progress. At the same time, technological advances in satellite navigation, increasing corporate jet fractional ownership, modernization of air transportation through NextGen, and unmanned aerial systems offer exciting opportunities for an airport’s future.
In addition to meeting development needs, Armstrong incorporates community vision, mission, and goals into implementation plans that will achieve the highest and best use of available airport land.
